Guide Service - Lake Superior & Inland Lakes

When you go on vacation, don't you wish it were easy to find out where to fish, what species were biting? What to use? and how to do it? Let veteran captain Craig Putchat show you how awesome the fishing can be at the top of Wisconsin.

Captain Craig has been taking people fishing, and teaching people how to fish Lake Superior, and the inland waters of northern Wisconsin for over 15 years. He is on many tackle manufacturers pro-staffs, has filmed fishing TV with over half a dozen different show hosts, and teaches open water and icefishing seminars at sport shows and events.

Captain Craig has many repeat clients who come fishing year after year. You could be one of them. Here are some of the reasons why you should.

1. Our fishing trips are FUN and EXCITING! Come fish the biggest lake in the world, OR one of our pristine inland lakes, for a truly unforgettable experience!

2. You don't have to bring a thing! You are certainly welcome to bring your favorite rod, or lure along, but if not, don't worry. We supply everything you'll need from rods and tackle all the way to livebait where neccesary. At the end of the day we can even clean, bag and freeze your fish for you to take home now, or pick up on your way out of town.

3. Fish HOW you want to fish, for the species you want to catch. Our two most popular trips are Trolling for trout and salmon on Lake Superior, and Smallmouth Bass fishing in Chequamegon Bay. Trolling is basically just going for a boat ride untill a fish bites and a pole starts shaking, Bass fishing is rod-in-hand casting fishing where you feel the strike! Some people definatly have a preference for what type of fishing they prefer to do.

We accommodate everything from these two types of trips, to families who want to catch a mess of panfish on an inland lake, to Muskie hunters who desire a hookup from a big old gator! We even take wader clad stream fishermen for spring steelheading trips, and fall Coho, Brown and Splake trips at the mouths, and in the tributary creeks. Don't forget our ICEFISHING trips. We don't hibernate in the winter, we fish 12 months a year!

4. Need help figuring out HOW to use your new bigwater trolling gear? We often join new fishermen on their boat and go thru the procedures to fish different areas, and structure, using everything from downriggers and dipsies, to leadcore, copper, and planer board presentations. Don't be intimidated by the big lake, let Captain Craig cut your learning curve in half.

5. Didgital photos of you and your catch, emailed to you the same day! Share them with your family and friends, even before you get home!

6. Have some non-fishermen in your group? Mabye your arms ar sore from reeling in too many fish? That's great. You are going to have just as much fun without a fishing rod, as with! We work with all the other local outdoor adventure companies, and will be excited to book you a
